This processor is a great one for gaming and all I gave it a 4 because it stoped working 2 months after getting it so has to get in contact with intel and they refunded me back, which it was quick and ended up with the new intel core i9 9900k

the corner stone of my new pc build have not even kept it over clocked. but on a cheap aftermarket cooler it was up to 5.6ghz. all overclocking done with the motherboard auto feature. turned off the over clocking due to video encoding seemed between over clocked and encoding the temps would get too high and the system would reboot. at the stock speeds it dont have that issue dont get past high 70s low 80s when full usage during encoding.
