If you care about your baby, dont buy this. As soon as theyre old enough to reach it, theyll try to pull the camera off the mount and the mounting socket/clip is made of brittle plastic, so itll not only fail to hold the camera, but it will also break and leave little shards of plastic behind for your baby to eat. FUN! (not)

Place cords at least (3 feet) away from any part of the baby crib, baby bassinet, play yard, or other safe sleep environment. Be aware that what is a safe distance. Almost all baby monitors are wireless. If they are wireless, Digital monitors use the 1.89-2.4 GHz frequency which is the same as a microwave oven. Remember in the RF Radiation world, the higher the frequency the more dangerous it is to the baby.

The features and quality of the video are good. My only complaint is that the camera has a such a close capture that we had to install it way up by the ceiling in order to see the whole crib. If I put it near the side of the crib, I could only see a tiny portion of the crib. I tried to Zoom our farther to fix the issue but seems it is standard.

Runs on same frequency as Wi-Fi so will jam your internet. I returned because we couldn’t change frequency of the camera. Overall, pretty good quality other than that.

We originally had our baby monitor just sitting on the side of the crib, but when my baby started rolling he’d hit the side of the crib and knock the monitor over. I had to secure our monitor didn’t want to do any drilling or mount it and this was the perfect solution. My monitor screwed right into it (looks like it can adapt to any monitor with the right sized screw) and now we have it secured to the crib. I also bring it with for travels and I can easily put it on a pack and play. No more falling over!!

This has nothing to do with the camera itself which I’ve been using for 6 months. It you plan on having a good view I don’t recommend.. unless you plan on hanging it from the ceiling. This was a waste of money I had a much better view without it.
