Im sure these cables are perfectly fine for other applications. The value is extreme in terms of foot per dollar. But its not ideal for extending solar panel connections to the power station. I tested in several combinations and always lost 20-26 watts input from a 100w or 120w panel. The typical loss midday was 91 range without this cable then plummeting to 67 range once I attached the cable. Too bad because it was otherwise perfect including the flat cable allowing me to shut the door with the power station remaining inside.

Good value for the cost, good length. Comes with zip ties and nail-fasteners for fixing to a wall. The connectors are a good fit and have good retention, though theres no click feel when fully inserted into the female end, and Im not sure about the longevity if you repeatedly remove and re-insert the plugs, though this is primarily designed for permanent fixtures.

I got this to connect a small solar panel to a trailer battery that powers some lights and a jack. The cord worked great for this application. I tested the output of the panel before and after the cord, and there was no noticeable difference in voltage. The flat profile wasnt important to me but could be useful in some circumstances. The cord that came with the solar panel was male at both ends, which created a small issue, as this cord could not replace the original as I had intended. I had to use the original cord in addition to this core to get the plugs to work. This is no fault of this product, but it could be an issue in some cases. The length was plenty to reach from the roof an enclosed trailer to the tongue where the battery is. Shipping was quick and my order was accurate.
