Janome Plastic Bobbins for All Home Use Models

Works as expected

Work in my old as sin Janome just fine. I was worried about the reviews that some of the off-brand bobbins had and didnt want to damage my machine. I feel good about this purchase and they work just fine.

Having a Janome machine, I would not use any other brand of bobbins. Yes, they are a bit more pricey than so many others you can buy, but since they are made for the Janome they are tIhe perfect fit. These came in the package (withing just 2 days) so I know they can be trusted. They are type 15 bobbins, so they can be used with any other machine. Definitely worth the extra price when you dont have to deal with shifting and tangling bobbins that can jam up your machine. These are pretty hard to find in quilt shops locally, so I will surely continue to buy them here.

I find that these Janome brand bobbins are consistent quality, they fit my Janome machine perfectly, and they are not difficult to fill and to use.

I order Janome bobbins on Amazon, because Joanns and Hobby Lobby dont carry them. They sell the generic bobbins that fit Singers, so I am happy to find them on Amazon. In the past, I bought bobbins at large quilt shows, but I go to maybe 1 a year now. Sometimes I need bobbins right away and the price is about the same so, its all good. Actually maybe cheaper in the long run, because I spend a lot of money on a lot of stuff at those quilt shows.

Strongly recommending using the original Janome bobbins to prevent jams. They are not any more money then knock offs and work perfectly. Its great to have extras.

Fits machine perfectly

Prompt shipping and well packaged. The bobbins fit perfectly, as expected. These bobbins feed the thread smoothly as it comes off the bobbin; no snags or hesitation releasing the thread. Nice to have extra bobbins on hand for all the sewing (face masks) that are being made.....

Despite the advertising, these bobbins do not work in the Sewist 740DC. I emailed the company before I purchased them and they said they work. Well, not when you hear the machine clunking as it’s sewing. Changed out the bobbin to one that came with the machine and problem solved. I thought these were returnable but I guess not. Lost on this gamble. I will call Janome and get to the bottom of it and update this review. Update: Unable to contact Janome. They keep redirecting you to a dealer. Upgraded to 3 star because I did try a different bobbin from this pkg. and it seems to work. Might just be the first one I used was somehow distorted or defective. As I stated above, I contacted Richmond Hill, the seller and they did not give me specific info. They should be able to respond confirming it fits specific model. So for now, I would say it works. Shouldn’t be this frustrating to get the info one needs to make sound purchasing decision. I need more bobbins but won’t reorder due to no returns. I’d rather pay more and buy it from a local dealer. Hope this helps.

I now only use jamone bobbins for my janome machines.
