I ship 5-15 packages per week in my personal life, and have shipped thousands at various jobs I have had over the years. I found this product to be quite a let down. I usually use Tape King for my cheap tape needs, but it was out of stock when I needed something ASAP, so I tried this based on reviews. I find this Jarlink product seems thinner than its spec would indicate, which leads to using more per package. It also has a stretchy, elastic property to it that I do not like, and it does not apply smoothly-it wants to crease. Clarity is poor as is typical with cheaper tape. It sticks to itself better than anything else, so I end up wasting a bit every time it rolls over onto itself on the dispenser. I would not suggest this for anyone that ships packages regularly.

UPDATED 2/2022...We ordered another pack of 12 rolls as we were initially impressed with the tape. We started noticing recently that once we taped the packages and let them sit for an hour or so, some of the tape was starting to come undone. It was very odd. At first we thought it may have been us when packing and we didnt press the tape down as we may have been hurried however it kept happening over several days even after we made it a point to ensure we fastened the tape correctly. Purchased this tape for boxing shipments. Well I packaged the boxes and the tape would not stay stuck to the boxes. So I had to purchase tape locally to re tape all the boxes. It wasn’t just one roll but three rolls that I used. DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU WANT THE TAPE TO HOLD TOGETHER SHIPPING BOXES. Or really anything.

Some off brand tapes can be thin, or not stick, but this tape works very well. I do a lot of shipping on eBay, and this tape seems comparable to 3m packing tape.

Simply put, cheap tape.

Well its wrapping tape so its doing its job as I am having to move it as landlord wants to make more money off of his property so all four of us people that live in these apartments. Non-renewal leases. Merry Christmas for an early gift. Having to move. LOL

Would have liked a stronger tape

Used this tape a lot to secure items while shipping. Adhesion was great and the tape always did it’s job.

Product is strong and sticks very well, easy to use and fits my tape dispenser. But I cant use over printed shipping labels. Causes inkjet ink to disappear! Suspect there must be some kind of acid in the adhesive. Bummer - will still use on many things.

I have been buying another brand for quite some time and was looking for a lower price and Im very pleased with the quality of this product.
