The blanket is very soft, sturdy stitching, and great to cuddle up with while watching a movie and sleeping. I bought this for my granddaughter. She loves the stuffed Pete that was part of the package. The blanket is soft and cuddly and perfect for nap time. I gave a 4 on the thickness only because its not as thick as I would have liked but it is not thin by any means.
