I LOVE THIS THING!!! AND ITS HUGE!!! It gets loud and has deep bass. I compared it to my other JBL speakers (2 Charge 3s, Charge 2+ (Sold), 2 flip 3s (sold) and 2 clip 2s (sold) THEY DIDNT EVEN MATCH THIS BEAST! ) and this has to be the best as it has more features with 2 usb charge out ports, 2 tweeters to help with the treble along with the drivers to do everything else, and giant passive radiators on the sides to get that nice bass. There is only one problem with the Xtreme, but it doesnt affect me much. Around or at max volume the bass seems to be more forced and has a slight distortion to it. I only play at max if I were alone or at a park. Outside the speaker still keeps its good quality sound and I everyone goes crazy because of its size! I play all types of music and this speaker handles it all. (STILL HAVE MORE TO WRITE)

This speaker is incredible. The bass is surprisingly nearly like having a 10in sub. Great quality and loud! Highly recommend!!

I got delivery of the JBL speaker about a week ago, all seemed well. Nice packaging included charging cable and strap. After two sessions of use lasting 2 hour in total, battery went from 4/5 charge lights to dead. Tried charging the speaker but would not charge past 4/5 charge lights. Tried charging from a different outlet and kept getting same results. Turned speaker on to use again but this time charge only lasted an hour before the speaker disconnected and shut off. Tried charging the speaker again and only got one blinking charge light over a 3 hour charge time. Returning speaker and ordered replacement...i will post update.

the speaker battery was dead on arrival and did not hold charge. Returned it 10 days ago and as of today no response. Amazon needs to careful with these type of maybe scam vendors on Amazon. Not sure what to do.

I bought my speaker less than a year ago from this same seller and it started malfunctioning after 4 months of usage, eversince then Ive been trying to contact JBL to repair it but I havent gotten any responses, the speaker sounds great but the battery is wack! It keeps on turning off after 15 minutes of playback even at full battery, the only way to enjoy music was having it plugged in to the power every time. Lately it just doesnt turn on anymore!
