Fits my 7 year old good and adds an extra layer of protection. It is not as strong as his Thor racing chest protector but is a comfortable option for casual riding.

If you want it to fit exactly make sure to order a size down, I choose a medium but we recieved a large and its a bit big on my 8 year old, he will be able to grow into it. Testing of the quality over the next few weeks will change the review if need be, but from what I can tell this vest is high quality. Very nice. After weeks of use I can say this armor is very nice
