17-04-2025The threads on the arbor burned up on the first use. Didnt even complete 1 hole. Now it just spins on the arbor and wont come off

> 3 dayThis saw and arbor feel solid and looks like it’s a good price/quality ratio.

> 3 day... or maybe a bit less. Being the cheapest 4 hole saw on Amazon, it clearly doesnt aim for quality, but it got my job done. Which was a neat and tidy 4 hole in my ceiling. It wobbled a bit; no big deal. And the arbor has no securing mechanism, neither locknut nor pins, so if you take your finger off the trigger suddenly to stop it, the saw flies off the arbor into hopefully vacant space. My advice is to screw it on as tightly as possible and slow the drill gradually.

Greater than one weekthe threads spun out of saw first use. I used the included arbor and it stripped the threads out of the saw on the first use. Most arbors for hole saws of this sixe use a arbor with pins to keep the blade from twisting on the threads but this one did not, so get what you pay for I guess.
