Bought this for my 10 yr old and 8 yr old boys to help them with styling their hair. Love it! It smells super good and hold their hair through the whole day at school and sometimes even through a two hour practice. Husband ended up trying it and loving it too! Will be buying more

my stylist mainly uses johnny b product to style my hair after a cut and wash; seem many different variation of the johnny b gel from green to blue to yellow but now in PURPLE! I think this is the best Johnny B gel by far. first of all; it smells amazing! if they make it into a body spray; I would use it! secondly; its very easy to apply and style your hair; then once its dried; the hold is actually pretty decent; I lived in DFW area and its always windy; after a long day; my hair is still in tact; looking sharp as always! if you are Asian and long straight hair like me; this is a MUST buy! an ESSENTIAL men hair styling product!

This product is really great for hold and a plus is the smell! The hold will last all day and you can readjust if needed with some water. It washes out very easily too. You don’t have to worry about it flaking either. Definitely not your average gel. This product doesn’t require a lot to get that great hold for your hair style. I use about the size of a dime or less. I can see this lasting me longer than expected. My barber always uses this product and he was the one who influenced me to start using this product compared to the previous product I was using before. Another plus with this product it doesn’t have alcohol in it and it’s not oily either.

I like the product but after I purchased it on Amazon, I discovered Supercuts was selling it for $3 less. My fault for not checking.

The gel just looks like you put water on your hair but isn’t stiff enough to mold the hair or give it any volume sadly. Longevity on my 11 year old boy was maybe an hour.

Tiny bit goes a long way.doesn’t feel super sticky after a drying. Feels natural and has a great hold to it
