> 3 dayI barely ever write reviews, but I feel very strongly about this particular purchase. My Parrot died yesterday because her wing got trapped in the strings of this toy. It happened in the evening and when I went out to feed her yesterday morning, I found her tied and knotted to this toy. My Children’s pediatrician always told us to be careful and look out for strings of hair or clothing string that can wrap around babies fingers and toes and cut circulation. It sounds crazy, but this does happen! It happened to one of my Children and I was fortunate to know what I was being faced with. Well, this toy is the same concept. The little strings were coming out and somehow she got twirled in the loose strings. Her skin under her wing was “skinned” red flesh. We got her out and she still had one tiny string tightly submerged IN HER SKIN!!! We called a vet but he could not see her until the next morning. All other offices were closed because it was Sunday. We did the best we could to keep her comfortable, but Monday morning she finally let out a little cry after not speaking ever again and she past away. If I could rate this ZERO stars I would. We will never have another Parrot again for what we have suffered with our loss of Sasha, our beautiful yellow nape. I cannot emphasize enough that this toy is not worth it and so will NEVER RECOMMEND IT!!! The guilt of my loss is extremely painful.

> 3 dayOur Amazon Blue Front Parrot loves his creative hanging perch! He is still timid with it, but once he sees it is not going away, he will start to further explore it! We purchased to medium size for him and it is perfect!

> 3 dayI bought two of these for my larger parrots. One of them almost has it destroyed in less than one day. The other one is afraid of it. I guess as toys go it is ok but we need something with staying power.

> 3 dayGreat colors, not as garish as some. My little Grey didnt fly when I got her (17 years old) so shes cautious about her balance. I thought this would be easier for her to adjust to than a conventional swing. Im teaching her to fly short distances so she can get a healthy amount of exercise and this will make her life more interesting and help her have better balance. Her little face lit up when I gave her a few rides on this swing before I actually put it in her cage. Im sure shell be swinging away soon. December 9, 2016: It took 4 months, but once she decided she liked it - she REALLY liked it, and spends 50% of her time on her swing. I tried to help things along by having her step off my hand onto the swing so she would get used to the slight motion, and knew that this kind of swing would be better for her than a round rope swing because it wouldnt swing as hard and there are numerous places for her to grab with her beak if she starts to lose her balance. Dont give up and take it out of your birds cage if they dont like it right away!

> 3 dayCons: Didnt last a week! My grey destroyed it. Pros: she wasnt afraid of it as she is w every new toy or thing she gets. It kept her occupied and away from the carpets which she destroys too.
