Kaffe Fassett Millefiore Red, Fabric by the Yard

Beautiful!

This is a very pretty, bright fabric. It wasnt too thick or too thin. I needed a certain weight, because I used it, backed with metal and fronted with an old frame, to make a magnet board. If it was too heavy, the magnets wouldnt hold. But what a pretty, bright design! Very colorful for a kitchen that needs sprucing up colorwise. It also would look very vivid as quilt pieces.

This is even a more difficult color to work with than red but Kaffe pulls it off. This is a red that is closer to flame or fire truck red-orange. Fewer people can wear it than his other reds. However, it is a brilliant fabric and perfect for piecing with purples, blacks or greys. This fabric is all cotton and I washed and dried it in my machines at normal speeds and temperatures (warm wash, normal cycle and drier set at normal speed). It came out great and there was no bleeding. I always do this to my fabrics before working with them and thereafter have no problems cleaning my projects.

Quality fabric.

I love Kaffe Fassetts fabrics. Im working on a second tile quilt using all Kaffe Fassett fabrics (w/a few of Brandon Mablys because together, they are a perfect marriage!). When I buy these fabrics, I love to see them hanging on the clothesline, folded in my craft room, and in the finished creation. These fabrics inspire me and have done so since I first discovered Kaffe. They make me happy, happy, happy!! And they are high-quality, as Westminster Fabrics always are. Very convenient to buy the ones available on Amazon if you cant make it to a local quilt shop.

Beautiful fabric

This is the first time I have bought Kaffe Fassett fabric...and it surpassed any expectations I might have had. Ive never felt such soft fabric! I ordered more styles because I was so impressed. I will definitely order again.
