This is a great helmet and sturdy, but I would not recommend for ages 2-4. Way too large and therefore not safe for that age group.

**** Update**** The company sent us a helmet in working condition. Fits great, excellent customer service. Thank you! Our helmet arrived in Feb but we put it away for Easter. Just opened it and found out the helmet is broken. The piece used to tighten and loosen it inside of the helmet is broken and just keeps spinning. I realize the return window is closed but is it possible to exchange this helmet? This seems like a great piece

This helmet is very sturdy and comfortable for my grandson. It is much more lightweight than many other helmets but gets good ratings for safety. Most important is that it is comfortable, stays put on his head without tilting so he can see where he is going and he will wear it! Got the orange for good visibility.

But broke on the inside

This was our 4th helmet buy in a year. My son is 6yrs old and decided he likes to bomb hills and find the steepest parts of the skate park to try out. As soon as he cracks a helmet or I see it isn’t fitting right it gets tossed, this is the first one we’ve bought him that not only fits correctly (doesn’t slide back and choke him when he face plants) but is actually comfortable for him when we tighten the dial. My 2 yr old rocks a schwinn toddler helmet with a dial and although I love it because it completely covers the back of his head, they didn’t have one the next size up so I will be buying another one of these once he outgrows it! Fantastic buy for the price, already had two bad crashes and not a single crack yet!
