Bought these to refinish cast iron pans. They worked to get the rust off of them

I liked that i could use this with my drill to scrape off some paint. However, the battery for my drill died quicker than i needed it for so that was a hassle (unrelated to actual product). It will only go in one direction, the other direction would undo the wiring. I only used the harder one, not the finer bristle one since i am removing paint. Dry paint is easier to clean (but risking lead), wet paint a little more difficult to clean off the bristles but better for dealing with lead.

The wire wheel brushes are well made and worked great for my project, no shedding of wire.
