> 3 dayI collected antique combs for years. Nothing new is better made than a Kent comb. In my collection I have only two antique combs both made of ivory and sterling that are a shade better still there is nothing made today that equals the quality and styles of a Kent Comb. You challenge will be selecting the right style of comb for you. Over the last 30 years I have had 3 different styles as my hair has thinned and become less strong.

> 3 dayI love the weight and feeling of the comb. I have always bought cheap dime store combs and never realized what a difference a good comb can make.

> 3 dayExcellent comb. This is my second one, since i lost the first one. Even though i feel that $12-13 for a comb is pricey, i can justify the price. Feels a lot more smoother than cheaper plastic combs. Dont know if this makes an actual difference to the look of my hair, but i can tell you that combing my hair feels a lot smoother and slicker.

> 3 dayI purchased this comb for cutting my 3 year old sons hair so that I could comb the hair quickly without scratching his scalp and this comb is absolutely PERFECT for that! It feels super sturdy, is perfect in size, and very pleasing if teeth comes in contact with scalp! Purchased a larger version of this one for my wife and she ABSOLUTELY loves it! Cant go wrong with this comb! Never knew that craftsmanship could make such a big difference in something as simple as a comb! Okay, stop reading reviews and just buy it already!

20-04-2025Very nice. My previous comb, by Speert, bought at a barber shop, lasted almost 30 years, and lately lost some teeth. I expect this will last 30 years too, until Im 99. Its a little longer too. I thought they molded the whole thing, but apparently they start with a piece of cellulose acetate (a non-petroleum based plastic which causes little static (although even rubber pocket combs never caused me static) and then they actually cut the teeth with some saw with 40+ blades, I think. And then they polish it to get the burrs off, I think, so nothing catches on the hair, especially when its tangled. There are also more expensive combs made of horn, but for a man, or anyone, I think I spent enough! For a brush, I use my mothers boar bristle brush. (I probably could have spent less, but Im a slob in most of my life.)

Greater than one weekI have used an Ace hand made comb for the past 15 years and have been unable to find a replacement. I had originally bought three or four; but, they were so great that when the kids left for college so did my spares. We called the one that remained Dads Sacred Comb. Searching on Amazon, I found this comb made by Kent. Its even better than the ACE. I ordered three! Its hard to describe; but, the comfort and control that the hand made comb provides is just so much better than the standard dressing table comb. Now I have one to travel with me as well and a spare. And, no more kids at home!
