VERY fine-gauge precision 63/37 solder for electronic work or re-work. Usable for anything, but where this stuff shines is when youre replacing blown components on a PCB and cant be sure you can get all the flux off the board when youre done (you should still try with Isopropyl alcohol anyway) and not having a corroded mess a few years later matters. For larger soldering jobs youre going to feed a lot of this stuff, but thats ok. Its a nice-sized spool and will last you a long time; Kester makes some of the best and Ive been using it for more than 30 years. If you dont do fine PC work or rework the larger-diameter solder is more-convenient, but for high-precision work this is the jazz.

Great Solder. Kester is a great brand. Very clean and low fumes. Great for general electronics.

Melts like butter at around 200 C and wets like water. Amazing solder and with a hefty 1 pound spool, its gonna last for ages if you solder infrequently.

If youre working with leaded solder, this is the standard. Been using it for year (decades..??). Easy to recommend.

Great solder for microminitrature electronic work! Very flexible and fine strand solder, melts evenly at very precise temprature. This is a purpose-built solder... If youre just soldering your stereo speakers with your radio shack soldering iron, move along! This is VERY narrow strand... .02mm Intended for small sensitive electronics work. PERFECT for reparing micro electonics, such as .3mm resistors, in todays electronic devices.

It is skinny and nice. Does the job quite well! The flux is good too. Also, there is so much, I will be able to use it for the next few years.

You always get quality with Kester but this particular blend flows as smooth as silk when working on smaller electronics projects. Like butta Most people never know the difference a quality solder can make until they use a product like this side-by-side with the brand-x cheap stuff from the dollar store. its only then that people have that ahh haaa moment and then probably go back home and do the same thing with all the other junk that the thought didnt matter like chucking the one-temp plug in style soldering iron for a Weller or a Hakko and basically just understanding that you cant produce quality work with poor quality tools and materials.
