The razor I have wont take any great abuse. I put it in the travel case just to keep it from getting knocked from the top of my chest of drawers. I think this case is a necessity.

Bought this for a new Braun 5018s I received. My shaver fits fine, when dont pack the plug on the upper mesh pocket, though with NO excess room. Quality of the cover and zipper is good too. Definitely worth considering is youre looking a carrying case for a 5018 or smaller shaver.
