Love that the handle is a ballet slipper. No dangerous point on top . The button you push to close it has a cover over it to make it easy for kids to close. I was way surprised about all those features. The two-year-old loves it.

This umbrellas is great. It is very durable, and well made. It should last for a long time, even with little ones around. Its actually a bit hard for the three year old to open, but I feel like that means its not flimsy. We got a different umbrella the same day. Its also nice, but not as heavy duty as this one.

Im giving this 4 stars because its adorable and sturdy. However, I think the open and close mechanism could be a little easier for kids. My daughter tried and pinched her fingers, so now I have to do it for her.

My 5 year old daughter picked this umbrella out over all the rest. She loves it. The quality is great. The only issue is that the ballet slipper handle is really big for a little hand and it is heavy. Also, there is always risk of pinching little fingers when learning to close an umbrella. But I think the awkwardness of the heavy handle makes it harder to control for little arms and she isnt able to open and close it by herself yet. Our daughter is petite, were she bigger or maybe 7, I dont think these would be issues, I just wouldnt recommend for smaller kids/toddlers.

Its really cute but kind of heavy for my 3.5 year kid to hold independently.

Very cute! 4 stars though because although there is a cover over thing to put umbrella down, its still easy to pinch fingers - I have! My other daughters have kid umbrellas that just push up and pull down, so easier with no pinched fingers. ...but this umbrella is cuter.

Bought this for my 5 year old granddaughter. Its perfect!!!
