I use this drive to relocate files that are larger than 4 GB so I Changed storage to the NTFS file system. Sometimes it copies slow but this happens based on the file type and size. The speed is not a problem for me.

So, this 16 GB USB 3.1 drive performs significantly worse than an old 4 GB USB 2.0 drive that I tested, but its the cheapest drive available in its capacity

Some of my projects require transferring a large amount of data, and my 32GB flash drives were no longer keeping up. Ive always had good luck with Kingston so I didnt hesitate to order (both a 64GB and 128GB version). I only wished I would have read the other reviews before doing so. I had to transfer about 80GB of data so I plugged the drive into my Mac Pro. The machine recognized it, although it took a good 5-10 seconds before it appeared in the list of drives. I started the transfer and after reviewing the files told me it would take about a day to transfer. Ha - ok, Ill let it run overnight. Looked at it the next morning and it was still going! No joke. I had to do a repeat of the transfer and this time grabbed a small external USB 3.0 256GB SSD hard drive. I plugged it in and the computer saw it immediately. I started the transfer and it told me it would take about 40 minutes. I dont have the exact time that it took because I stepped away. But it was less than that. The speed with this flash drive is not what Im used to with other USB 3 devices. Im glad I didnt spend much on them because they will probably be put in the drawer and forgotten about!

I have two of these. They work fine under Win 7, Win 10 and Ubuntu 18. But are extremely slow under FreeBSD 11.3+ and systems build on FreeBSD 11.3+ core (like FreeNAS), as it has different USB driver not fully compatible to Kingston DataTraveler sticks. Same issue is claimed by other owners of Kingston DataTraveler on FreeBSD and FreeNAS forums.

If you are looking for a good usb stick for recording footage on Xbox Series X, this is a good one. Looks good and has plenty of storage for videos, small games, pictures, etc.

I can never go wrong with Kingston. They are always reliable, sleek and always do what they are supposed to do. I also always like the style of any of there storage devices. Highly recommend this product.

I have used Kingston memory products for years and never experienced a failure. This flash drive in all capacities is an excellent buy for a USB 3.0, and is even cheaper than it was when I bought it about six months ago. Since I am always losing the covers on flash drives, the non-detachable cover is a huge plus for me. I think it may have a lifetime warranty like Kingstons memory sticks. Very fast even in a USB 2.0 port. I bought it to use as a dedicated OSX installation drive because an 8GB was unavailable. Now it is so cheap that buying it is a no-brainier if you want a fast, high-quality and heavily-constructed flash drive that will not die or lose your data.

Kingston Technology says data traveler 100 capacity is 128GB. Actual capacity is 115GB. You will lose 13 GB from each unit. Both of units I bought has 115GB each.

This 128GB Kingston thumb drive has held any storage I have needed to keep on it for the past year and a half. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
