Klein Tools 69417 Rare-Earth Magnetic Hanger, with Strap

Excellent, well-advised accessory for my automotive use. Underhood, this helps protect the Klein meter.

This review is for the Klein Tools 69445 Magnetic Hanger Without Strap. Ive had it for almost two months now, and I use it on Klein Tools CL390 Digital Clamp Meter. I first used the meter without the magnet, and there was never a convenient place to set the meter down so that I could see the display while use the probes to take readings. When I later bought and used the magnet, it was like having a third hand. The magnet is very strong, and it sticks extremely well. It made it so much easier to use the meter. There is also a pretty thick plastic around the magnet, so I had no issue of scratching or marking up surfaces. I highly recommend picking up a magnetic hanger to use with your meter. It makes a world of difference.

Good tool for hanging a multi meter

When I bought the Klein Multimeter I was wondering what the funny bump on the back was for. Then I found and bought this hanging strap. It attaches to the funny bump...mystery solved. This has already proven to be a great addition to the meter. The magnet is very strong and allows attaching to a metal electrical cabinet very easily. Now, if they could only come up with a way to allow attaching to the fiberglass and PVC cabinets. Fortunately, most are metal, so this has proven to be a great accessory for holding my meter for me, most of the time..

This product should have been included with my $150 Klein multimeter. Its not a cheap discount store gadget. Its a professional grade tool! The magnet is very powerful, and holds my meter in place easily. The strap has easy to manage hook and loop adjustment, which could have used a little more length, but is adequate.
