The MAGNET is STROOONGG. almost too strong. its an effort to pull it off the pipe

1st, cant go wrong with Kline. 2nd, unbelievable price! Kline tools are more expensive, but worth it / the investment 99% of the time. Im an electrician & use this tool regularly. Earth magnets are very strong. I Highly recommend this level & not only better than the 935RB... less expensive! Deal!

I am an IBEW electrician. A quality level is a must for quality work. Magnets are strong. I get about a year out of one of these with heavy use.

I intended to use this instrument to level an amature astonomy setup. I dont need any miniscule precision, but decent eyeball measure of a bubble equidistant from the two lines, with a V-groove instrument on the edge of a block and of a bar and and on a pair of points. I cannot see how this tool can be used with confidence by anyone who needs to make ends meet. Even used as shown in the picture, position of rotation of the instrumant around the end of conduit will affect the measurement, for even a lttle here can be a lot there. The acccuracy of the horizontal vial of a bubble level can be tested by comparing the position of the bubble from each of all sides of the instrument lain horizontally. If the vial is parallel with all sides it should show level on each side, not just within the lines, but constantly equidistant from them. Alternative angle vials appearing long in the same visual plane as the horizontal vial should be in the same spatial plane with it, causing all to agree with the horizontal vial when the instrument is oriented horizontally to display that side. On this instrument the four bubbles rest through the full range from one line to the other. I also do a final test on the end of the my astronomcal instrument, but the pretty scoring on the top and bottom of this instrument would rasp the paint from it and scar the metal, as well as score a countertop and abraid anything organic.

Strong magnetic. No-dog needs a redesign. This is my second one, I lost the other one at the job. Other than the finicky no-dog this is my favorite tool in my bag

Cant ever go wrong with Klein tools. The build quality on this level is excellent and the magnets are incredibly strong. Heres a story and testament to Klein levels - about 8 years ago I was just starting out as a commercial electrician. I had just bought a Klein level (the older style black ones). I was working on a scissor lift and hanging some conduit in a large store and I dropped my level out of my hands. When the level fell past the metal hand railing on the scissor lift it immediately stuck onto the metal railing. The strong magnets had saved the level from falling 30 feet which probably would have broken it. I was sold ever since then. At the price point now theres no reason to buy a different brand. I can pretty much guarentee that the $30-$40 levels of this same type are not any high quality.

I love it, stink to all the metals very sturdy, when I’m screwing up screws it doesn’t drop off. I’m a happy with this product.
