Klein Tools MM600 Multimeter, Digital Auto-Ranging, AC/DC Voltage and Current, Temperature, Frequency, Continuity, More, 1000V

Does what I need. And seems accurate

Works as advertised. Easy to read and use. Lots of YouTube videos on how to use it.

I have quite a few Klein meters, testing equipment and hand tools. Purchase the MM600 from Amazon seller JBTools. It began having intermittent display problems right out of the package. Put in new batteries but problems continued to occur. Contacted JBTools and Amazon 60 days after purchase. JBTools replied that since purchase was fulfilled and shipped by Amazon, they wouldnt do anything about warranty; I needed to handle with Amazon. Went to Amazon and determined I needed to ship to Klein for warranty service. I received an RMA and was told by Klein a new unit would be provided and my shipping costs reimbursed if it was found defective. It was and a new MM720 (MM600 discontinued) was shipped but my shipping cost reimbursement was refused. So, no more purchases from JBTools and Klein as my go to is a bit diminished. Hope the MM720 remains dependable.

And its not even right. It hesitates then tells me theres continuity when there isnt any and the opposing situation is true as well. There being continuity when it says theres none. Luckily I only burned up 1 project to find this out. My old Greanlee is more accurate. Its been dropped ao I replaced with this purchase.

My son loves it,, he had a cheap one that broke, he said he wanted a good one that wasnt crazy expensive he really liked this one and said it works great

Replaced another multimeter with this device. Use it almost every day at work, very rugged.

Meter went completely out of calibration after 8 months. 10 meg resistors measure 2-3 megs, and Ive compared it to my two Fluke multimeters to verify this. Voltage readings also off by 5-10%. I barely used this meter and its still in excellent physical condition. There are no trimmers or pots inside the meter to do any kind of cal (there usually are in cheap meters) so now its almost useless.
