A lot of people say K&N is just an overpriced filter and doesnt do anything special. If any of those people have actually had to change an oil filter, theyd realize that the fact you need no special tool to get off this filter, just a normal socket, that makes it worth its weight in gold 100%. On all of my motorcycles, the filters get stuck on their and not even OEM filter tools get a good enough grip to easily get them off. Im fed up of saving a few bucks that I just go with K&N on everything now.

Used as a replacement filter for the original filter on a 2015 Yamaha Bolt. The original filter was tough to remove and I had to ultimately buy a $30 adjustable filter wrench... the integral hex nut on this filter will make future changes a breeze! Will certainly be my new standard.

Took a bit to take the old oil filter off, since I didnt have a specialized tool. I used vice grips (it bent the old filter, but its just an old filter right?). This one went on easily. Made my first time doing my own oil change a breeze

Been using these on various vehicles for some time now. I have an end-cap wrench for my Yamaha OEM filters, but once in awhile it doesnt grip very well and I got tired of stabbing my filters with a screwdriver to get them off. The little welded nut on the end of these K&N filters is genius and it allows me to use my torque wrench.

Fits my 2014 Yamaha Super Tenere. Plenty of space between the end of the filter and OEM skid plate. Looks very well constructed and hi quality. The nut attached to the end makes installation a breeze. My first time using a K&N filter so well see how the oil looks in 4000 miles.

Its a filter. What can I say? Good fit and short of analyzing the oil, one can only assume it is doing what it is designed to do.

I prefer the hex top for the ease of tightening and loosening the filter.

The design is fantastic. I was going back in forth between Fram and OEM for my 2016 CBR500R. Decided to go the K&N route because I always have to struggle with getting the OEM filter off. Setup was less than 5 minutes and the black looks great. Definitely lives up to the K&N name. Highly recommend!

I have been using these on my Kawasaki Jet Ski. The nut welded onto the housing makes removal and installation super easy because it allows the use of a standard wrench. No more strap wrench required. Ive been using these for three years, and will continue to do so just because of the nut.

Absolutely the best and cheapest KN-204 I could find. this specific model number is hard to find everywhere I check its always sold out. on top of that the price for one of these at lets say autozone is around 15 dollars, while amazon sells it for only around 9 dollars which is a killer deal when compared. If youre looking for this specific model number I wouldnt look anywhere else to get it.
