Knape & Vogt 256P-ZC Shelf Support, Pack of 12 , Zinc

Bought these for a gun lock up I recently got that was missing clips for the shelves. The ones that came with the cabinet were plastic. These are much sturdier and work great! Manufacturer should have gone with these in the first place!

They fit and they work, supporting shelves in a safe. I bought them for a friend who didnt know where to get additional shelf clips (not an internet user). She said they fit perfectly and are heavy-duty, supporting the shelves well.

Love the shelf supports, the inserts that go into the vertical shelf brackets. But the vertical brackets, which attach to the wall, are thin and spindly and Im afraid to press the supports into place until theyre mounted for fear of bending the verticals. They dont fit in easily, thats for sure. When my handiman shows up, Ill turn the project over to him, but Id planned to do it myself.

Work well

These are very sturdy compared to what came with my safe. They are rigid enough that it helps to have pliers when installing them, but there is no worry about them popping out unintentionally or getting sheared off. I can recommend these for any application where shelf supports of this type will fit.

These are hard to get as I don’t think it’s made anymore.

Item pictured is stamped Knape-Vogt, 256, Grand Rapids matching the vintage originals in the cabinet. What was shipped is marked 256 KV and arrived with rust spots already breaking through the plating. Cheap substitution or the original manufacturer sold out, but it will probably function at least, while leaving rust stains on my wood eventually.

Not Knapp & Vogt. These are a substitute. They fit exactly like the old Knapp & Vogt ones and worked fine, but not the same brand. Image as shown is not what was delivered.
