Good littile tape measure

Im 52 years old, and have been building and making things all my life. I have tried every brand of tape measure that I know of, and the Komelon 12 tape is far and away the cream of the crop. The action is so smooth itll bring a tear to your eye. Dont worry when that accidental 8 drop onto the cement floor happens; Its happened to me a time or ten, and the tape measure is no worse for the wear. The lock locks, and the lock unlocks. The stand out (how far you can extend the tape horizontally before it buckles toward the ground) for this 3/4-wide tape is rather impressive.

Good enough

If youre considering spending a couple bucks more for a name brand basic tape measure, dont. This one is great quality. Totally exceeded my expectations. I was worried this would be a cheap flea market quality product, but this operates smooth. This is not as good as a $15 tape measure, but thats why this does not cost $15. For light duty use, this is a good buy.

Gave this a five star rating because it is just what I wanted and hasnt fallen apart.I bought a sailboat and unknowing to me at the time,everything on it is in metric measurements.So I needed a quick way to convert to standard measurements. This does the trick.Glad I bought it.
