KONG CS9 Scratcher Refill for Incline and Double Cat Toy (2 Pack)

While it does seem to be a financial oddity to pay money for what is essentially stacked and cut corrugated cardboard (available basically for free at any big box store, just with a little work involved to shape properly), I admit that paying for the convenience of my cat scratching the hell out of this replacement/refill and NOT scratching my carpets or furniture, is worthy of a 5-star review. I toss the old, decimated one out (without shaking or jostling it too much, I have learned the hard way) and replace with this new one and watch the moron cat start ripping at it like a kid who lost a dollar down a gopher hole. Shaking my head, I back away, complacent in my decision to pay for shaped paper.

My cat loves these and it dames our furniture from becoming ad-hoc scratchers. Quick bonus tip for those in need of some additional help convincing their kitty(s) not to scratch the furniture - try some double sided tape on the spots of the furniture where he/she scratches the most.

Literally as I was pulling them out of the box all three of my cats got on them and started scratching away. They also love the catnip that came with them.

Basic refills at a budget price. My cat loves using the cardboard scratchers. The actual incline toy isnt needed. I just use the refill on its own and she loves it

These refills fit the original incline purrfectly. They also came with my catnip which was a big hit with my feisty feline. If your Alpine Incline was getting a little beraggled like mine, i recommend reenforcing the bottom corners with a little duct tape. It helped extend the life of my silly cardboard box and kept these refill scratchpads from falling out. I think after this set of refills Ill get a whole new unit, but Im cheap so a little DIY never hurt, right?

Was too long I had to cut to fit.

These were too wide for our two scratchers but they were easily cut to size, so they worked out fine. The length was correct.

Love it.. both sides scratchable... just purchased refills.. both cats were outdoor .. now inside and keeps them from scratching furniture .. a little catnip & they are happy .
