Transferring DVD (audio and video) for family members. Utilized 5 to date. No problems.

First of all, these are certainly NOT full speed USB 3.0 flash drives. You get an average of about 20 MB/s write speeds. And while you DO get pretty fast read speeds, it needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Secondly, the port cover on these is very flimsy and doesnt do a good job at protecting the plug. Finally, this set of ten flash drives comes in a very basic box and the drives are not individually wrapped/sealed. Its not a bad value overall and I can not speak for their longevity, since I only recently started using them.

So easy to use; there is sufficient space to write on the silver cover to identify each drive. You can copy a bunch of documents, pictures or files, either as folders or continuous individual files. I used one to back up all of my pictures (over 7000!) and still had space for more. At the price, I can afford to create digital files for photos Ive taken over the years and give each of my children one. I did test each one upon receipt; all of them work.

So far, so good .... have had for two months and used four of the ten without problems. It is getting harder to find 1GB USB drives for a fair price - but they are perfect for music for plugging into my vehicle or just attach to my computer to hear certain genre ... 1GB is the perfect size. Easy to use and simply to open and close - just slide the sleeve around the USB. The speed of transfer is NOT fast - but acceptable. I havent had any problem with the cover coming free or detaching (someone apparently did). The sleeve is blank and easy to write on. It had no logo on either side (like the picture demonstrated). I also use them for transferring multiple pdfs and docx files of active projects as well as for transferring files between machines. Although limited to 1 GB (by choice), they do the job and work well for transporting files.

Kootion 16 GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive 16gb Flash Drives 10pcs For the ones that are working...not bad, I like them. Pretty good generic little flash drives for the price. Out of the ten in the pack two of the drives failed to show any storage available, one refused to do anything at all (even light up) and two failed and fully corrupted/became unusable when formatting. -----Diagnostics + Chip info----- I used DISKPART to clean and format each one, FakeFlashTest and H2TESTW to verify actual storage and CrystalDiskMark to verify speeds. They each have exactly 15.357951 GB in MAX usable capacity when unpartitioned CrystalDiskMark results are as follows: [Read] Sequential 1MiB (Q= 8, T= 1): 143.088 MB/s [ 136.5 IOPS] < 58203.57 us> Sequential 1MiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 144.075 MB/s [ 137.4 IOPS] < 7268.93 us> Random 4KiB (Q= 32, T=16): 17.548 MB/s [ 4284.2 IOPS] <117249.22 us> Random 4KiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 11.249 MB/s [ 2746.3 IOPS] < 363.68 us> [Write] Sequential 1MiB (Q= 8, T= 1): 51.128 MB/s [ 48.8 IOPS] <135211.10 us> Sequential 1MiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 83.116 MB/s [ 79.3 IOPS] < 12406.85 us> Random 4KiB (Q= 32, T=16): 1.001 MB/s [ 244.4 IOPS] <326764.32 us> Random 4KiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 1.672 MB/s [ 408.2 IOPS] < 2398.55 us> Uses a SM3281 Drive Controller. I bought these USB sticks because the were cheap and had a decent rating. I got less than what I paid for. While they are indeed 32GB capacity, they are absolute garbage. I knew something was wrong when the quick-format to NTFS took over 20 sec. I tried to write 10-15GB video files to these sticks. The write process took 10-15 sec to start then cycled: 16MB/s (3sec) --> 0MB/s (6sec) --> 16MB/s (3sec) --> 0MB/s (6sec) --> . . . . It did this through the whole write. Rather than throw them out, Ive tossed these aside and only use them when I need a give-away USB stick. Thats how Ill get rid of them.

Easy to use, very portable, makes a nice gift if you are giving perhaps a slideshow or pictures to someone, they can plug it into their computer or television to view. 2.0 is a little slow on the download but if that is not a problem then this is a good buy.
