I bought these for my step daughter and her friends that attend college together. Recently there were reports of a man stocking, and sexually attacking young women around campus and our small town. I wanted the young ladies to have a quick way to draw attention to themselves if anyone made them feel uncomfortable. They all carry these alarms with them which make me feel so much better. A scream can be muffled by a perpetrator, if the pin gets pulled on one of these alarms, it will be heard, they are loud and irritating, they work great!
