these pine wooden dowels for the pocket holes do not, i repeat DO NOT fit the standard sized hole (3/4) even with hammering or sanding... i ended up throwing the whole package into the garbage and using stainable wood fill to fill the holes.

If you are buying these then you know what they are for and how to use them. Pretty simple. Plugs for pocket hole screws to make overall appearance of a woodworking project to look finished.

Dont really fit the wholes drilled by my Kreg jig as is shown in the booklet and video, a little sloppy

once you realize to use the beltsander to level all these off, you are extremely satisfied with this product....go for it.

Made my grand daughter a cut away section of a doll house for her American Doll. This allows continuing to construct with out waiting for the glue to dry. These are used to conceal the drill holes.

So the plugs are just as described but I dont know that I would use them again. It is not a perfect fit and there are some gaps that may or may not bother you. If they are not visible and you dont need to finish them then fine, but then why use them? If you will want to finish them with putty or something then its another job. I finished them with 1)sawdust and glue and 2)color changing wood filler. I got a nice smooth finish in both cases but I was using a milk paint and it didnt stick to the sawdust and glue and the color changing wood filler turned purple with each coat. Maybe an oil or latex paint would be fine. Some use Bondo to finish. YMMV. Do the experiment first. I may just use other attachment methods in the future to avoid the problem and save extra work.

They work as they should. Makes a nice finished product. I will eventually order more when I need them.
