Kuat Phat Bike Kit

We have pretty much the biggest fat bick available. Kuat should stop selling fat kits. Thier rack doesnt support fat bikes well enough. Dropped our fat bike at highway speed. Lucky no damage. Use with caution. Use extra bungee cord on front tire if you use this kit.

Does NOT work with Kuat Sherpa or Sherpa 2.0. Spoke with a representative from Kuat and there is no plan for Kuat to support owners of Kuat Sherpa or Sherpa 2.0 with Fat Bikes or Fat Tire Bikes, even though the representative agreed could they could easily make a new front wheel tray to accommodate Fat tire bikes.

Very helpful for my ebike

Works with my Kuat NV 2.0 hitch bike rack and is needed if youre hauling fat tire bikes.

I use these on all the front tires of our 24, 27.5 and 29 inch wheels. I noticed on longer drives to the trails the front tires also need securing, these are perfect.

Kuat sucks. I buy a $800 rack and I can’t even upgrade it. So they sell us these overpriced straps which are marginal at best. I guess they hope I will buy their new $800 rack just to fit my ebike needs. Wrong. I work in a bicycle shop and I tell all my customers how Kuat treats previous customers. I will never endorse their product again. Other great rack companies out there.
