My daughter was struggling learning to skate. She said the rental skates felt too heavy. Since I purchased these, she’s learned to skate with ease! Excellent skates and super light on her feet; according to my daughter!

Top to bottom, these are pretty good skates. There are several closures, including laces, a velcro strap, and a ratcheting plastic lockdown at the top of the boot, which means that they attach well and have good ankle support, particularly because the boot is a high top. The wheels and bearings seem well packed and well lubricated. They also easily and conveniently change size. These seem pretty solid and well built. The toe stop is too small and set too far back to be good for much, which is really the only problem with these skates. (Im also not sure that it will move forward as you lengthen the boot to make it larger, which will make this problem even worse.

These skates are a Christmas gift for my daughter. They look perfect with room to grow but I have had to air them out for about three weeks and Lysol them several times because they smell like cigarette smoke. It’s not just a little bit of a smoke smell. I was going to send them back if the smell didn’t go away completely but it did. So be prepared for this or just order elsewhere.

Bought these for my granddaughter. She uses them everyday. Now I’m getting some for my other granddaughter.
