My wife started sewing again after a few years off. She started sewing face masks and was having a hard time seeing - not enough light - even with using a small desk lamp. I got her an LED strip for a sewing machine. This helped a lot, but the light in the sewing machine was dim so ordered these LED lamps. What a difference! Its brighter and its cooler. Install very easy. Its a little longer than the tungsten bulb but it still fit. She’s very pleased!

I order them for my sewing machine and had to put a cover over it because it was so brite. The good thing is that in my vintage Kenmore it did stop it from getting too hot and my pressure foot isnt getting hot any more either so now I am not sewing under a hot sewing machine.

This is a bright bulb, just what I needed for my sewing machine. And it uses less power than my old bulb.

I took a chance and it worked. At first I thought the base was too small but it was the right size for my Pfaff 7550. It was quite a bear to get pushed and twisted in. Nice and bright and now it won’t get hot like the old bulb did.
