I have an old set of cameras that I can only use magnetic mounts on since one of them got a screw stuck inside it from a screw-in based mount a while ago. But theOG magnetic mounts they came with I had to leave behind at my old house since I couldnt remove them without risk of ripping off the panelling, so I bought these as a replacement. As far as the magnets go: I mean, they work. Both cameras have managed to stay up through light rain and snow, though have not had any heavy storms/wind yet so cant say how well the magnet will keep them up in those. However, these things mount with only a single screw which is NOT stable at all. I had to add a command strip to the bottom portion of the mount to keep it in place/not slide around! Would be a much better design if it screwed in with at least 2 screws to hold it more securely.

These work as well as the OEM version. It is good to have extras in alternate locations to move the cameras around.

My cameras were in house so I didn’t need them. Moved cameras outside and could not find the mounts! LOL! So I had to order more. They do the job if u did the same as me or just need more.

These are basically the same thing. No need spending any more.

It is not magnetic, doesnt attach to the cameras at all. Not as advertised.

The camera mounts are great. Battery life poor in high traffic areas

Almost identify to the OEM one, except the plastic base used slightly cheaper material and the mold quality is little less. But definitely recommend considering the price and value. Honestly, exceed my expectations.
