> 3 dayThis box arrived and I opened it to find a Thunderbolt (USB-C) transfer cable, a single-sheet of instructions (front and back), cardboard, and ... nothing else? I was trying to pull out the cardboard and shake the box to figure out where the CD-ROM was when it hit me ... DUH ... many computers dont have CD drives anymore, so its probably a digital download. I took a look at the instructions and they do indeed have a download link and a serial number to activate it. Phew!

> 3 dayI recently purchased a new Windows 11 laptop and I was looking for an easy method to transfer not just my data but also my settings and applications to the new system from my old one running Windows 10.

> 3 dayIve been using PC Mover for years and years to transfer customers from an old computer to a new one. It really shows its value when the old computer is a different operating system than the new one. It will cleanly transfer all of their data and most of their programs, although sifting through the stuff they have installed over the years can get tedious. Ive also had issues with Office licensing after the transfer.

> 3 dayI liked it better when Microsoft provided transfer software as part of it operating system. I resisted buying the Laplink product through several computers due to not wanting to spend the money on it. Well I have used the Laplink software a couple of times now and I can say that, for me, it is worth the money.
