I mainly use the tr est light to test small circuits (turn signals, lights) on my motorcycles. The negative clamp is a little bulky for some applications. Otherwise, it works fine!

Like this product. Coiled cord gives good reach. Easy to read display. Seems well built. Has come in handy while rewiring a vintage car.

Doesnt work in multidirectional has to have probe on positive and clamp on negative, I have used others that work either way

I was trying to tap into my low voltage (12V) landscape lighting with my low voltage (12V) step RGB LED lighting with no luck. Used this tool to check the voltage at the splice and although it would light up I couldnt get a digital readout of the voltage. Was getting rather frustrated that what I thought was a really cool tool was DOA. Took it out to the KTM motorcycle & it worked perfect. Hmmmmmm. Turned out to be operator error. The magnetic transformer puts out 12 VAC. The tool only reads 12 VDC. I did think it was interesting to note the tool would illuminate when exposed to AC voltage. It just wont give you a digital readout. Bottom line......Great Tester! Highly recommend.

I work on semis and this is a great heavy duty tester. Only improvement would be adding an audible when testing. Other than that no complaints.

Can only check power. not ground. so grnd to + ok// + to -, will not read. fyi

Needed a place fuse tester that wasnt complicated to read. The backlight made the digital numbers easy to read and the voltage held corresponding readings

I like it is a digital read out, however in bright light the light indicator does not show up well. Also the clamp rubber is too slick to open clamp, ended up pulling it down out of my way to grip the clamp
