Grip mechanics generate too little force

Durable and easy to use.

The tool worked, but not easy or clean. I bought it to add an extra hole in a pair of women’s sandals. Works great with paper, but leather is another story. The smallest tool circle is not as small as the other holes on the shoe. It took several attempts to make the beginnings of a hole. I finally pushed through with an ice pick. Ultimately, the buckle covers the spot, so no worries.

Works as advertised.

First off, it didn’t punch holes at all. I tried a small cardboard to test it, FAILED! I thought the black covers was removable hoping the sharper parts would do the trick. NOPE! It does now come off. I ended up throwing this piece of garbage away.

Unfortunately this was useless. I needed it to punch holes in a light duty guide harness, and it bent halfway through punching holes. By the time I was done, the metal was ballooning and it was punching crooked. I want to stress that this wasnt horse tack or heavy leather in any capacity. Its a light duty, single ply leather.

Didn’t work at all. Didn’t even puncture super thin suede. Absolute junk and a total waste of my time and money.
