It does the job but is not in a good way.

I misplaced my good 45 year old one, so I didn’t want to spend too much on another one. It seems sturdy and hopefully the punching edges hold up. I think the smallest hole punch might be a bit larger than my old tool. It was a good value for the money spent.

It doesnt work well on a heavy leather belt -- it takes quite a bit of effort and you will need something like a screwdriver to actual make the hole. It isnt that good on a lighter belt either; it takes repetitive effort to make the hole. Its disappointing...

Good punch for the price and the steel construction makes it feel nice and sturdy.

I picked this up to punch a new hole in my thick leather belt. I couldnt get it to completely punch through, even twisting it. I ended up having to use a small pocket knife to finish the job. That said, it helped and it was cheap, so three stars from me.

Takes a good bit of effort to punch the smaller holes but it is manageable as isn’t a tool I have to use regularly. If you have to use it on a daily basis then I’d say look elsewhere as the strain it’ll put on your hands is unnecessary.
