First let me be clear...There is NO Remote. There is NO Timer. The lights are clear, bright & present nicely on a flexible copper wire to be shaped/molded as desired. It requires 3 AA batteries (NOT INCLUDED); the battery pack/box can be easily concealed by allowing it to rest or be taped onto the back of a vase, box or in my case, tall glass cylinder (pictured & also from Amazon). My lights are illuminated 4-6 hrs per night for at least a week & a half now...Im soo loving the ambiance the lights present. Neither the glass cylinder the lights are housed in nor the battery box are hot to the touch after being powered on for 4-6 hrs, so thats a plus. I dont normally submit a review this quickly (I typically use a product a few months before reviewing), but this was so out the box neat to me, thus my 5☆ review. Should my level of satisfaction change, my review & rating will as well. In the meantime, I spy with my little eye, locations for 3 more!!

I was hesitant to purchase these because of the mixed reviews I read. I am glad that I went ahead and purchased them. I got them right before Christmas and they are still going strong with the same batteries. I have enjoyed them so much I just purchased a second set to use for a table decoration this coming spring. For the price you can’t go wrong. I have not had any issues with them. The wire that the lights are attached to can be a little challenging to untangle, but, all in all I was very pleased. They give off the perfect ambient touch of light to whatever area you are hoping to decorate.

I use battery lights all around the house at Christmas. These were good but easily tangled.

Wrapped around a wreath gave it a very nice look.
