My ferrets love this hammock and sleep in it all the time; however, after one wash the color on the fabric faded A LOT which is why I took off two stars. Otherwise, it’s a good hammock for the price.

When these hammocks arrived I noticed a strong mildew kind of smell immediately. I double washed them in white vinegar and after both washes and air drying they still smelled, maybe a little less. I hung one in the cage for my rats and they’ve been using it but sneezing and scratching a little since. After a few days I removed it and wiped down that area and after settling back in they aren’t sneezing or scratching. I don’t know if I just got a stinky batch or if it’s some chemical used in the fabric but it seems like a bad fit for rats at least. If not for the smell, the hammock is cute and seems sturdy and comfortable.

These hammocks are very cute. Our rats really enjoy them. Two rats can sleep in one hammock at a time.

The material is expected for the price: it’s cheap. That being said, it’s very soft. My 2 rats shredded large holes in this within 2 hours of it being in their enclosure. They love it despite this, but I don’t expect it to hold together very long. I’d recommend making hammocks if you have the recourses and capabilities to do so.

Out of the three hammocks of bought for my rat this one lasted the least amount of time. My rat loves his hammocks but unfortunately this one couldn’t hold up long enough, he managed to chew the seams between the floof and the pattern fabric separating them and chilling between those instead of the provided layers. He did end up chewing so many holes in it I was afraid he’d end up digesting some fabric strawberry and had to toss it. Lasted a few months, the floof was soft and hooks made it easy to hang up.

Strawberries are my favorite design so I knew this was the one I wanted as soon as I saw it. My rats seem to like it. I just put it in there so hopefully they won’t destroy it!

I have 3 ratties and this is their main hang out. They sleep on the top and use the bottom for eating snacks they stole from the other lol. Bigger than I imagined and washes beautifully on hot in the washer

I have two sisters South American raccoons that use this and fit in it and loved it they eat it they chewed on it it is very sturdy and durable going

It is a great product. Just as described and totally what I was expecting. Its larger than I thought it would be but no matter the sugar glider and squirrels are beyond happy with there new play Queendom. I have ordered 2x more and they are very cute.
