LEGO City Fire Plane 60217 Building Kit (363 Pieces)

This is a great LEGO set. It was fairly easy to build, without being boringly easy! It has been added to my growing LEGO city, where it fits in well. The quality is as you would expect, exceptional! The documentation is simply perfect. Ther fun? OPngoing! So be the best parent, aunt or uncle (or other relatives of friend) and give the gift that you know they will love, and go back to time and again.

My son really enjoyed this Lego set. He is 6 and has built many LEGO sets at this point so it was not a challenging build. he loved the size of the plane and the water bombs that drop from below. He also enjoy sets that come with multiple pieces, which this one does. The plane is the main attraction but he spent lots of time playing with the Jeep after it was completed.

I dont know what kid doesnt love Legos and this set is yet another one amid many little boys and even girls will find themselves enjoying not only putting together but also playing with after. This set lives up to the Lego quality we expect.

My husband enjoyed assembling this, and my 4.5 y/o son has had so much fun playing with it. He tried helping his dad put it together, but his little hands just dont have the required dexterity (its intended for children ages 6 and older). My husband was a little overwhelmed initially as there are so many little pieces, but they came in several bags, each with their own set of directions so it was really quite manageable. Once assembled, it turned out to be a really great play set. Between the plane, jeep, firemen, fire, trees, etc., my son gets really involved with acting out fire rescue missions. This is definitely a hit at our house.

Shipment wasnt complete. The kit didnt include the decals for the airplane. My six year old grandson was disappointed the decals were not in the kit. He loved assembling the Lego set.

LEGO’s are great for kids to put together

My 9yo is a LEGO pro, basically. He took a little over an hour to complete this set and was fascinated (as ever) with the movable features. He really liked the water-dropper on the underbelly of the plane. The trees have a Minecraft-esk feel to them and add a nice touch. It has now joined his LEGO land.

This set is a bit pricey, but overall has great play features. For example, the fire on the tree can be removed easily to put it out. Water can be dropped from the plane. It has 3 minis and 2 vehicles and a lot of specialized pieces (probably why the price is a bit higher).

Good medium sized set. Took about 45 minutes. Good minifigs and the airplace is really neat once complete. Good set to add to City.
