If youre looking to make the specific items shown on the package, then this is a perfect LEGO set complete with instructions. But if youre looking to start a collection of bricks for building your own things, they will need to be very small projects. There arent really enough bricks of any one color to make even a little hut, let alone a house or a decent-sized sculpture. I havent counted, but it feels like less than a quarter of the set consists of the 2x4, 2x2, 1x2 bricks and corresponding flats that are the workhorses of LEGO projects. Many colors have next to no bricks, consisting mostly of cylinders and odd curves. While only a few of the pieces in here are officially Pieces with Only One Purpose, building with this set still feels as constrained as trying to create something original with a licensed set. Im going to need to go to other sources to obtain bulk pieces in single colors to allow larger constructions. I have a strong suspicion that this set contains the exact pieces needed to build everything in the suggestions booklet, and not much besides.

Can’t beat legos. Bought this for my kids durning this time of having to stay home. They already have a container full, so I knew they loved to build. 900 pieces is a great deal and at $50 cheaper then elsewhere I looked. Got the package quickly, left my kids and husband to open and look through and they were still sitting there building when I got home from getting groceries. Great way to take up time, and use their imagination and skills.

Bought two sets for my 6 year old and 8 year old, they love them! Very good buy.

i only had a bunch of old sets from my childhood so the colors were very basic. I have a daughter so it was nice to buy a set that had so many colors! we enjoyed the whole set and the book it came with to make some little things was awesome. Over all there would be no reason to complain unless you cant read and know what youre getting. Great product!

Got these for my 3 kids, ages 3-11. They ALL love them, and there are plenty to share. They come with a good amount of cute accessories. My kids build little cafes with them. Would absolutely purchase again. Great value for the money
