LEGO Hogwarts™ Express

Bought as present for nephew. He likes it.

I originally bought this set at Walmart on sale - but amazon has a great price on this is very detailed, fun and fairly large set. The train itself has a lot of detailed imbedded while building the train and has quite a few movable parts. The train station has a lot of details from the moveable wall to enter platform 9 3/4, newspapers, a moveable train station clock, and a wanted poster of Sirius Black. Even Ron comes with Scabbers. Each of the characters aside from the Dementer also has alternate Happy/scared faces. The train compartment car comes apart to fit the figures in and the trolley cart even has a chocolate frog and Bertie Botts beans from the book. Great set!! Always amazed by Lego. Our 4.5 year old - who has never seen the movies - loves playing with this set.

This was for my 9 year old daughter and she loved it. It took us about 6 hours to put together and she had enjoyed it! The details were amazing!

I purchased this for my grandson nearly a year ago. Though Ive gravitated to purchasing the Technic sets, as in most cases there are more pieces, a higher level of complexity, and the final product doesnt fall apart so easily. When I was perusing future Lego sets to buy with my grandson, this one came up and he really wanted it. My hesitance to buying the old school Lego sets is that they take very little time to assemble. This set cost about $75 and its just a half an afternoon project for my five year old grandson. Thats a pricey half day of entertainment for a five year old. But Im glad we purchased. Hes assembled, disassembled, and reassembled this set 3-4 times in the last year, so I feel like I got the bang for my buck.

Gift for grandsons,enjoyed it a lot.

They box is severely damaged and is a horrible gift for someone.
