LEGO Ideas 21312 Women of NASA (231 Pieces)

I am so pleased to see this Lego Nasa Building Kit. A former, neighbor and friend, Nancy Grace Roman is part of this set.

Great set! Be an educated buyer though; at time of this writing price gougers are asking 3x list price but its not even sold out on legos website. I received my set today and am very happy. The instruction manual has a little biography on each featured woman in the set which is great for those who may not know why these women are such pioneers. An unexpected but appreciated design perk is that each minifigs face is double sided; you get to choose between big smile vs pleasant at rest face.

Was lucky enough to see this when it first hit on November 1 and ordered it for $25, got it Thursday!! Looked at it two days later and it was $125 for the set. Absolutely crazy and sad to see it get gouged like that. Would totally to wait for Amazon themselves to get more otherwise go to the LEGO website where you can get them for the regular price. As for the set itself what more can be said, Lego truly outdid themselves with this product. I started to put it together and my son immediately took over saying how cool it was. These gals will proudly sit in my science class next to my displayed books from the Sally Ride Institute and hopefully inspire more girls to pursue their scientific dreams.

Great set. I love the Lego Ideas sets because theyre fun little builds I can do in 1 or 2 hours, and they make nice little display pieces. These are definitely simple enough for children to build whether they have experience with Lego or not, but have a nice enough final product to display as an adult collector. Definitely putting these up next to my Lego Ideas Birds set.
