Gave this to my Husband for Christmas, he built it the second he got it and loved it!

It was really great to have something unique. I wish there were more unique ones one this. The piece count is deceiving as over 200 pieces are water which means they just drop into the bottle. The base is very detailed and interactive.

Very cool lego product. My eight year old had a blast putting this together, and now it sits on our mantle. Very well made, unique, and not like any other lego set you already have. Definitely worth picking up for the lego enthusiast in your family.

Bought this as gift. Not seen this on store shelves. I’m sure my collector of Lego son will love it.

Im amazed by how LEGO keeps coming up with new ideas and how their designers manage to make everything fit perfectly. This is a set you build and leave as displayed, which many of us do anyway but without a glass bottle. The youngest appropriate age would be an older elementary school-aged child, but the child will likely need help. The difficult parts are: - bottom of the glass bottle because there are lots of small, clear pieces. - making sure all the pieces are snapped in tightly so everything can fit while nothing falls out, like the water pieces. - placing the ship in the to-be-completed bottle. Yes, the ship does fit in the bottle. Get the bottom of the ship attached to inside of the bottle first, then carefully put the clear panel pieces above the ship. It took a few tries because the ships masts kept falling down and lining up the ships bottom to the bottle was tough. However, everything fits perfectly. You can even shake the bottle lightly, though I dont recommend it, hah. The display stand has a compass (spins but not magnetic) and two small globes. Awesome set!
