LEGO Jurassic World Baryonyx Face Off: The Treasure Hunt 75935 Building Kit (434 Pieces)

I do not fully understand the magic of Legos. However, my kids love them and so I buy them and they make things and then remake things and are happy. My son reports that all the pieces are there and that the directions dont have any mistakes. So there you have it. I always think Legos are overpriced for a bunch of plastic pieces, but nonetheless I buy them because the kids are so into them. These seem to me to be just like all the other sets - they occupy the kids and they enjoy them... and they are overpriced. Still five stars because kids stay occupied and happy and not on a screen.

This is the gift that my almost 5 year old asked Santa for and he was not disappointed. He wasn’t able to assemble it on his own, but his 7 year old brother was able to help. You only get the one dino, but my boys love the water-loving dinos like baryonyx, spinosaurus, etc. They liked that this came with lots of figures, a vehicle and a vehicle accessory

Cute set but was missing a few pieces. We had to use pieces from our other sets.

My son is a huge Legos fan and this is a great set. It was easy and fun to build and the characters and dinosaur are fun to play with. Nice addition to the other sets were have.

First of all, all LEGO sets are good. So this review is assessing whether this is a must have set, a nice to have set, or a set for someone else set. This is a medium size set at 434 pieces. For me the star attraction is the off road buggy with the trailer attachment. The trailer is well done although I wish they worked in the larger matching wheels instead of the small ones. The buggy has the right rugged look but the trailer does not. The inside (yes it opens) of the trailer is great. It will get a lot of play value. The buggy used a lot of standard pieces that together really make the truck feels like a off roader that you will use in the jungle. The four mini figures are always welcomed, as with red the dog. I love the backpack on SinJin. If you like Dinosaur, then the baryonyx is a must have for you as well. Otherwise the price reflects this extra special piece. If you like the movies, or Dinosaurs (which most kids do), this is a must have set. For me, not being a fan of the movie but a fan of LEGO cars, this is an almost must have set. In general anyone including myself will get a lot of play time out of it.
