LEGO NINJAGO Legacy The Ultra Dragon 70679 Building Kit (951 Pieces)

I have every Ninjago set so I had to complete my dragon mech set. It was a rather odd build, not difficult, but unlike what I expected after seeing the others. This is a great looking mech. with 4 heads properly colored and it comes with a handle on top. This is cool, the handle really ups the antie on Swooshability during play. It comes with lots of potential. But having said that. It lacks one thing that I value lego for above all else. I have taken apart all of my Ninjago mechs and I have tried to build something else, however the repeating parts end up creating a lack of creative drive to build something different. This is my only complaint. I realize that this is not a 3 in 1, but I think you get it. Great collector piece.

This was a gift for my 5 year old grandson when he had his tonsils removed. He loves Ninjago. I thought this would keep him quietly busy for a couple of days. He had it together in a couple of hours!

My nephew absolutely loved this Ninjago set we gave him for Christmas! It was completed within 3 days and he and his brother totally hooked on the Ninjago lego sets.

my daughter loves to build dragons (no... she has not seen Game of Thrones) she is 9yo. I wish Lego would do more animal builds and not just the Jurassiac Park ones. She would build night and day, if they had more complicated animal and sea life builds...hint hint.

LEGOs Ninjago Ultra Dragon is an impressive LEGO set that is fun to build and manipulate. The set contains many unique pieces and mini-figures. Its not a difficult set to assemble, but it is a bit tedious since you have the make similar parts a few times over (four heads, and four legs). It took us about 3 leisurely hours to assemble it and the instructions were clear. Many extra pieces were included. Once assembled the dragon is quite large at over a foot long from tip to tail and in wingspan when stretched. The dragon has four heads each with their own unique color scheme and horns. All of the heads move individually and the mouths open and close. The dragons wing open and close by using a handle on the back of the dragon. His legs are fixed in place, but his tail swings freely. Besides the dragon there are also 6 mini-figures, each of which have unique weapons. Speaking of weapons the enemies have shooting spears and the dragon shoots small round LEGO pieces. When I say shoot, I mean it, the pieces fly quite a distance but they dont hurt if they hit you. All in all... a wonderful set.

This is such a great set. Probably one of my favorite Ninjago series sets. it comes with a huge dragon that shoots, has a whipping tail, and can hold multiple minifigures in its cockpit. Maybe my boys are unique, but this definitely was their favorite of many sets they have received in the last couple of years. Between shooting things, and dragons and plenty of figures to join in the battle, its definitely a hit!

Really cool Lego building set. Lego,s are the best building blocks. They have easy to follow instructions. The blocks go together and stay together. I like the different set that are available. This Ninjago dragon set is great and looks cool when assembled.
