LEGO Speed Champions 1985 Audi Sport Quattro S1 76897 Toy Cars for Kids Building Kit Featuring Driver Minifigure (250 Pieces)

I work at an Audi dealership and bought this as a gift for a technician who was retiring, he loved it. I also purchased one for my 8year old nephew, who loved it. Just another great fun Lego product. SIDENOTE: Everyone loves Lego. If you have a secret Santa or mystery gift exchange holiday time these $20 and below Lego sets are a winner.

My son loves these Lego cars. The build is not difficult, but you get a relatively sturdy completed product that you can play with on the floors, which he loves to do still even at his age. This one is a great build, nice and brightly colored, nice little Audi details. Price is under the 10 bucks per hundred pieces I like to see their sets at, which is nice. Far too often theres a tax when you get real company brands like this involved with a Lego set that jump the price up more than it should. Great set for anyone who is a fan of the racing cars and Lego.

Its amazing. We have almost all the speed champions sets, and this one is one of my sons favorites. This is a set that both Dad and Kid will love to play with. Go for it.

Easy to assemble. Looks really cool. Love building these sets.

Our LEGO fanatic grandson, still just 5, had a lot of fun building this set. It took about two hours and the build was just challenging enough to keep him interested and eager to keep going. He loved the number and quality of the stickers included for decorating the car. The end result definitely is a quality repro of this famous race car, and since the wheels turn really well, he can play with it as a race car. Sometimes he does this in the second floor hallway so the car careens off the wall and hurtles down the stairs. Of course, some pieces fall off, but he has an interesting attitude— when parts fall off, he gets to rebuild the car. I’d call that LEGO love.

I’ve gotten several LEGO sets over the course of the last few month, this was the latest to arrive. Great for activities with kids. I save these for when I go visit my godson and goddaughter, we usually spend an hour or two building a LEGO set. Great way to get kids away from their electronics and talk/help each other while putting one of these together. Took off a star for the crushed box. This and one other set arrived in padded envelopes (while all other LEGOs were delivered inside cardboard boxes, so these seemed to be the exceptions for some reason). That combined with the fact that the box is not made of hard cardboard makes it very easy to damage to box. Something to note if you happen to be one of those collectors that care about the condition of the box. Will update with more pictures once we have time to assemble it.

Love the 80s body styling and it’s a great model to assemble and display !
