LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 75308 Droid Building Set for Adults, Collectible Display Model with Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber, Great Birthday for Husbands, Wives, Any Star Wars Fans

I bought this Lego set for myself for my birthday because I’m a huge Star Wars fan. The beginning build was going smoothly then I noticed something didn’t line up with the middle leg. I had to deconstruct and reassemble everything. When I got to the final head piece I spun R2s head around and it went flying off and shattered into a bunch of pieces. But it was completely my fault. So I had to rebuild the last bag of pieces again. It was frustrating but once completed it was a really cool piece of Star Wars to have in my room. Hopefully it’ll be worth a lot more in thr future.

Great project that was a nice challenge to complete and really makes for a great display piece. Assembly also involved some nice features for the true fan.

Arrived in a perfectly closed box, within the Amazon box. Took me about 8-9 hours to build this bad boy, but the outcome was extremely fascinating. I didnt realize so many parts would move!

Turns out it’s even more special. My bf loved it!

This was a great product for gifting my teenage son this past Christmas 2021 to go with his other Star Wars lego collection. I was trying to wait until he finished it to send a photo...Hes still working on it 6 months later...LOL! It is one EXTREMELY LARGE masterpiece to assemble and worth every penny! Thanks.

We bought this for our daughters 23rd birthday and she was so excited. She has built other Star Wars Lego projects so she was able to navigate the instructions with only a couple goof ups that she had to redo. The R2 is bigger than the other things she has done and at 2,000+ pieces theres a lot of steps. She couldnt put it down and so she was done after a couple of LONG nights. Its pretty spendy for a box of teensy plastic bricks but the look on her face was well worth it. The level of detail is really impressive on it. Now we have to find a place to keep him...

I ordered this thinking that it would arrive in one of those Amazon-branded cardboard boxes (just like all packages I usually order). It was actually delivered as-is in the original retail packaging. Also just so happened to rain that day of delivery, so the whole thing got soaked. Dont make the same mistake as me. I went back and realized that I overlooked the checkout page when selecting a delivery date. There was a line that said, Item arrives in packaging that shows what’s inside. To hide it, choose Ship in Amazon packaging. Im giving this a 2-star because I dont understand why it wouldnt ship in amazon packaging anyway. It was supposed to be a birthday present for a friend, and theres no way Id give him that. But the product itself is great I have one of my own. Its a great way to pass the time and youd have a lot of fun building it with some friends. I requested a refund/replacement so thats that. Thank god for Amazon Prime and the speedy delivery, Ill get it just in time for my friends birthday.

the box was open and some of the pieces were missing. The bags were open.

We LOVE Lego! This was ordered for our son for Christmas. The quality of the shipping was truly fabulous. The set box was in a box that fit like a glove which was then put into an Amazon box that for snuggly as well. Nothing was messed up, bent, squished or anything. I was impressed with the shipping. The Lego set quality goes without saying, of course. You just can’t beat Lego. My son was beyond excited to get this set he has wanted for several years.
