Greater than one weekThis Star Wars lego set is pretty great, all 1007 pieces of it! My kids have loved every minute of working together to complete this set. And have spent a long, blissfully fight-free amount of time playing together with it. That being said, I do think that liscenced Lego sets are more expensive than they should be, but no one cares about that. So: is the set COOL? YES! Will it keep your kids quiet and happy for a while? YES!

> 3 dayThe Lego 75243 Star Wars CONF_Slave I, with components made in Denmark, Hungary, Mexico, the Chech Republic, and the USA, is a special 20th-anniversary rerelease edition and includes a collectible Princess Leia figure. Other figures include Baba Fett, 4-Lom, Zuckuss, Han Solo, and Han Solo in carbonite. This set features moving parts, shooting lasers, and a carry handle for lots of imaginative play. This kit comes with an instruction book, and is a great way to spend time with a child, friend, or date. It took two of us a few hours to put the Slave I together. We worked together towards a common goal and chatted during the process. Once built, the Slave I becomes a working toy. The Slave I’s wings rotate, a pilot can be chosen to sit in the cockpit, and shooting parts are triggered by pressing a specific point. If you’re a Star Wars fan and enjoy Legos, the Lego 75243 Star Wars CONF_Slave I 20th-anniversary building kit is for you. Grab a buddy and get building this fun design. ► PROS: Great for bonding Working parts Easy to follow build instructions Instructions also available online ► CONS: Pricey

> 3 dayWhen all said and done, I was missing pieces for this build. Luckily, I could work around/hide the missing pieces, but I shouldnt have to do that. Over 1,000 piece Star Wars Lego Slave 1 Lego build and its missing pieces. Disappointing! Spent several hours putting this together to add to my Star Wars Lego Collection and LEGO cannot even provide all the pieces. They inevitably always include extra pieces in each bag, all be it small pieces, but extra pieces none the less. I just put them in a Tupperware container to use in the future if need be. But, to have several small extra pieces and not enough correct pieces is unacceptable. But, in the end, that is the risk you take buying Legos.

> 3 dayCommemorating 20 years of LEGO Star Wars building sets, this nicely appointed Slave I vehicle presents a challenging project with a satisfying finished result that makes a great addition to any Star Wars themed collection. In addition to the vehicle, this 1007 piece set has 6 minifigures including Han Solo in Carbonite Element, Han Solo, Zuckuss, 4-LOM, Boba Fett and a bonus Princess Leia with a 20th anniversary display stand. Minor issue--one of the parts bags had a tear so some pieces were loose in the box—I’ve learned to open these sets carefully after spending a ridiculous amount of time tracking down small pieces that I inadvertently scattered. As expected the bricks fit together well and the visual instruction book is a good guide. If interested, note that Princess Leia is one of five available 20th anniversary minifigures to collect—the other four are available in other sets. Designed for builders aged 10 and up—adult assistance may be needed for those aged younger. Iconic and impressive.
