Grandson absolutely loved this!

My son received this as a birthday gift from my dad since he had been wanting it since last year. My biggest complaint is that the blocks don’t snap together securely so just applying a smidgen of pressure on a piece you’ve been working on for so long will cause it to seemingly explode in your hands and cause you to rage as you rebuild what you spent so much time and energy on as thoughts of giving up and leaving it incomplete runs through your brain. This has actually happened with a different Mario Lego set. I put it back together so many times that I literally gave up on it. What’s going on with Lego that their quality has gone down as their prices remain the same? It’s a great concept, lots of interactive pieces, but how can you play when everything crumbles around you at the slightest touch. It’s frustrating and unacceptable.

Arrived without shipping box so my son saw his birthday gift sitting on the porch while I was still in the shower. Went ahead and gave him this gift early since there was no surprise left and he was so excited. Putting it together we were missing a piece in one of the parts bags, a unique piece that cannot be easily replaced. We dug through all our other legs and found a couple pieces to use together as an alternative to the missing piece, but he was disappointed it was not the correct piece and the color did not match

I never saw it other then watching him open it through a video on Christmas morning. He was very excited opening it.

Very disappointed that this set doesnt come with a physical set of directions. It steers you toward an app instead. This may not be a deal breaker for some, but we usually love the screen free experience lego offers. The PDF of the directions exists...but it is too large for us to print. Seems chippy not to include it with the set. I reached out to the company but there has been no response. Our first negative experience with LEGO.

It did not come with a Lego book. You have to download an app to see how all the pieces go together. Other then that my daughter loved it.

Just watch out this is the last item of a collection, you have to buy the little sets before in order to obtain Mario to play with this set, in this set is just Bowser included, the little set before include more characters and interact as a whole set.

Set came missing pieces

Ive bought dozens of Lego kits for my son, but this expensive special birthday present has been crumbling in his hands. Ive never seen anything like it. Pieces of every colour just fall apart, including Bowsers arm and all kinds of key pieces. He barely touched it after I built it but its breaking everywhere. How do I get a refund?
